● Leads a team of data analysts responsible for supporting the development of data, data models, reports, dashboards, and insights for all games offered by NYT, including Wordle, the NYT Crossword, Spelling Bee, the Mini Crossword, and many more.
● Revamped the entire pipeline of 150+ TB of raw data, rebuilding all data models from scratch to increase analytical speed, create more dependable architecture, and lead to more powerful insights that drive forward organizational KPI goals for the NYT Games team and company overall.
● Migrated the team to an agile sprint framework utilizing JIRA and created a ticketing request system to substantially reduce ad hoc and accomplish long-term vision for analytics group.
● Led the team to rebuild the entire product dashboard suite, designing individual dashboards for each game and portfolio-level dashboards that allow for easier strategic decision-making on a daily basis.

● Oversaw 100s of actionable ad-hoc analyses and recommendations, leading to millions of dollars in monetization gain and increased user retention and engagement.
● Piloted and led the execution of the transition of 22+ analytics team members, the entire sprint framework, and the analytics roadmap from a myriad of internal tools and Excel to a fully AGILE framework strictly within Monday.com.

Electronic Arts - MAXIS Studio
● Responsible for creating analytical frameworks and processes, data models, job automation, ensuring analytics team member growth, developing cross-discipline studio relationships, and spearheading some of the more complicated analyses done within the Maxis Studio.
● Adapted a lightweight agile framework, moving the analytics team to a sprint schedule with JIRA/kanban.
● Led the migration of 5 years worth of historical user data from a warehouse needing deprecation to Hive and Redshift, updating and restructuring the schema/taxonomy in the process.
● Implemented a studio-wide behavioral segmentation initiative to identify player types using PCA, k-means, and archetypal analysis on all portfolio titles.
Lead Analyst (Jan. 2017 - May 2018)
Electronic Arts - Sims Mobile
● Lead Analyst for The Sims Mobile, responsible for the hook creation, reporting, data modeling, dashboarding, data integrity/validation, and analysis of game data.
● Defined the project’s analytics roadmap which included ad-hoc analysis, long term data projects, ETL/infrastructure building, and BI tool creation.
● Built a completely open source and custom data product using Bootstrap, R Shiny, and R Markdown that handled all of the reporting and dashboarding for the project without any additional costs to the studio.
● Held studio-wide “Data Readout” meetings after every client release where the BI team presented findings around different features that had recently went live.
● Long term personal projects included building the project’s P&L, KPI forecasting, and automating a behavioral segmentation algorithm using PCA/k-means to cluster players into segments daily

● Owned the game data creation, transformation, modeling, and visualization process for all studio titles, representing a portfolio of ~$30 million annual revenue and 6.5 million yearly installs
● Lead Analyst at 60 person Phoenix Age studio responsible for managing the tracking, reporting, and analysis of game data for two of the top three revenue games at Kabam, as well as two pre-launch titles
● Defined and prioritized analytics road map while creating dashboards and ad-hoc analyses for cross-functional teams encompassing Engineering, Design, UI/UX, Support, and Business Development
● Learned PHP, allowing analytics to create data logging triggers on client/server code while freeing developers from the process
● Performed basic statistical analysis using R and Python to research and predict user behavior and in-game events

SEGA - Publishing Team
● Monitored and maintained KPI tracking dashboards for a global portfolio of 9 titles across 3 studios with over 100+ million installs using Redshift, S3, and Tableau
● Created an automated advertising solution, "CashBot", which automatically reweighted and optimized the advertisements shown in Sega's titles and increased ad revenue across the company by ~$700K/yr. CashBot changed eCPM floors and turned off and on different partners to maximize revenue using Python, Selenium, SQL, and Cron.
● Produced daily exploratory game and advertising analysis primarily using Redshift, SQL, and Python
● Built a web crawler using Python, Selenium, and SQL that scraped AppAnnie to identify newly soft launched titles of competitors and sent an automated weekly email report to the Product Team
● Developed a front-end web interface using Python, Flask, and HTML/CSS to allow the Advertising Team to monitor and manipulate eCPM values in real-time
● Created a Spark/SparkSQL tool for the BI Team to convert raw JSON data to CSV format
